Goin to Church is important.
Why?
25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
We meet together, in person. We are an encouragement to each other as we’re gathered. Biblical fellowship is life-on-life. As each of us is in various phases of our Christian walk sometimes we’re instructing, some times we’re learning, other times we’re being corrected and correcting.
Going to Church week-after-week, to the same fellowship, and with the same people, as a pattern is part of the Christian life.
Further, your presence at Church may be an encouragement to others. There is no such thing as a Lone Ranger Christian. Going demonstrates our values and beliefs to a watching world and allows us to call others into that belief together with us.
So at First reformed we say we:
